🛠️ Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Customize Your Invitation on Canva

1. Open Your Canva Link

After your purchase, download the PDF file. Inside, you’ll find a button or link to open your template in Canva.

💡 You don’t need Canva Pro to use most features—just sign up for a free account!

2. Make a Copy

Click “Use Template” to open the file.
Canva will ask you to make a copy into your account.

3. Edit the Text

Click on any text box
Replace with your own words (names, date, venue, etc.)
Customize font: click the font name at the top menu to change style
Adjust font size, color, or alignment

4. Change Colors

Select any element (background, shape, font, etc.)
Click the color square in the toolbar
Choose from default palettes or add your own brand color

5. Swap Images or Backgrounds

Click the current image or background
Tap “Delete” or “Replace”
Upload your own image or choose one from Canva’s free media library

6. Add or Remove Elements

Use Canva’s “Elements” tab to drag in:
- Icons
- Illustrations
- Frames
- Shapes
You can also remove or resize anything that doesn’t fit your vibe

7. Add Music (for animated invites)

Click “Audio” in the left menu
Drag in a music clip
Adjust volume and timing as needed
Canva also allows you to upload your own song!

8. Add Animations

Select a page or individual element
Click “Animate”
Choose from various entrance effects (pop, fade, rise, etc.)
Preview with the Play button at top right

9. Download Your Design

Click “Share” > “Download”
Choose format:
- MP4 for digital animated invites
- PDF for printing
- JPG/PNG for sharing on WhatsApp, Instagram, email, etc.
