If you want to resize the file for a different format, here are some tips:

1. Make a copy of the design — it will open in a new tab.
   ii. Return to the original file and go to:
   File > Move to Folder > Create New Folder > Name your folder > Move the file.
2. This step ensures your original file is saved safely.
   d. You can also re-click the original Canva link anytime to start fresh — this gives you the original version again if you want to redo your changes.
   e. Now, go back to your copied file and make any edits you’d like.
   f. On the top left, feel free to rename the file — for example, “Print Size – [Your File Name]”.
   g. You’re now ready to resize, redesign, or experiment as needed!

1. Important:
   If you don’t make a copy first and directly change the dimensions, you’ll lose the original size.
2. Whenever you want to test changes, always save the original design in a folder first, then work on a copy. That way, your base file always stays safe and untouched.

Also note that you can make further copies for other purposes (birthdays, parties …) making it cost effective file 😊

How to download your ready files:

On desktop:

1. On the editor menu bar, click  Share.
2. Click  Download.
3. On the dropdown, choose a file type for your download. Learn more about the supported download file types.
4. If your design has multiple pages, select the pages you want to download from the dropdown, and click Done.
5. Click Download.

 

On Mobile App:

1. Tap the  Export icon from the editor menu bar.
2. Tap  Download.
3. On the dropdown, choose a file type for your download. Learn more about the supported download file types.
4. If your design has multiple pages, select the pages you want to download from the dropdown, and tap Done.
5. Tap Download.
6. If your design has premium elements, tap on the  More icon (beside Try Canva for Pro/Teams for free) and then on Purchase Pro Content License. Select the amount of Canva credits you want to buy and tap Pay and Download to finish.
   1. Please note that if you do not use other Canva premium elements, if you use only my design, you will not need to pay anything more, or simply use the elements that do nOT have a “crown” logo on them, which means they are free to use!
7. Select where to save or share your design. If this step doesn’t appear, you can find your design in your device’s photo gallery.
